Welcome
At St Nicholas C of E Primary School we understand that starting school is a major step for both the child and their families. Therefore, we understand the importance to facilitate a smooth transition from home or nursery to school. With this in mind, our values and moral code underpin an ethos of care within our safe, nurturing environment. We provide a journey of learning, whilst developing each child holistically. The uniqueness of every individual is recognised through valuing all cultures, communities and people. Building on the crucial role that Early Years Education has to play, we provide firm foundations upon which the rest of your child's education is successfully based. This allows the children to dream big and shine bright.
We aim for our children to establish and develop mutually respectful relationship with and between adults and children. It is important to empower children to be independent and confident learners. Warm and positive relationships between staff and children, consistent routines and strong relationships with parents are key for supporting your child with their education at St Nicholas C of E Primary School.

- Parents Evening 22/23 October 4-7pm
- Stay & Play Monday 10th November 9-10am
- Christmas Play Wednesday 10th December 5.30pm (Children in at 5pm)
Spring
- Swimming begins 7th January
- China day 16th January
- Walk to Church 3rd February
- Local walk and litter pick 9th February
- World book day 5th March (adjectives)
- Stay and Play for parents 16th March 9.00am
- Parents evenings 18th/19th March - by appointment only
Summer
